No Screw ups, no learning. As simple as that.

Recently I have been thinking about how much time I have spent preparing myself to produce resuts, preparing myself to act. I have observed that the number of people that keep studying after university keeps growing, why? Sometimes I think that it is because when these guys that have been studying for 20 years have to start doing and not talking, and they don´t know what to do. Experience is what you get making mistakes. As Tom Peters says, no big screw-ups, no big learning.

Failure…The secret to success

Some companies think in a different way, and Honda is one of them. The video I am talking about today has to deal with taking a chance. The main reason why companies does not innovate or move forward is because they are afraid of failure. However, some companies see that failure as a necessary step to success, because, as it is said on the video, “you can fail 100 times as long as you succeed one. We can only make fantastic advances in technology through many failures”. The only way to keep moving is to make mistakes. Just remember that the next time you fail.
